Walk into our soft launch
From 3rd to 13th August, Dishoom Leeds opens its doors for a ten-day soft launch, with 50% off food as the team find their feet. Bookings have filled fast but most of our tables are held for walk-ins, so do wander by at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Ambling appetites: be pleased! For those planning ahead, bookings for our official opening of 14th August and beyond are now open.

DISHOOM x DOH’HUT
★ To celebrate the opening of Dishoom Leeds, we've linked arms with the kind folk at doh'hut to create a thing of uncommon deliciousness: the Chai Donut.
Crafted alongside Tom and his beloved team: fluffiest, chai-sugared dough is plumped up with chai-infused crème pâtissière and crowned with a ginger-chai-caramel truffle rolled in crushed pistachios.
Available for two weeks only from Monday 13th to Sunday 26th July, exclusively at doh’hut.
Address: doh’hut, 2 Trevelyan Square, Leeds LS1 6ED

The greatest Gold Heist to never happen
A SCREENPLAY
INT. Irani Cafe. Night.
14 April 1944. Inside a café at the base of a majestic modern apartment block on the Back Bay Reclamation, Bombay. A large clock above the shabby bar indicates it’s after 2 o’clock in the morning. The wood of the dark-cocoa walls is chipped and faded, wearied by wartime. A sign propped on a Bentwood chair near the door states:
ALL WELCOME.
At a table cloaked in blue-and-white check near the back of the café stands a silver-haired Indian man....

Dishoom Leeds
★ In 1930s and ’40s Bombay, a new generation of Indian architects imagined a brighter future. Along the Back Bay Reclamation, colourful Art Deco buildings rose in stylish defiance of the established order. Within lay modern-to-the-minute interiors full of glamour and possibility. Nearly a century later, Dishoom Leeds loudly celebrates this creative spirit of progress and reinvention on Vicar Lane.
Open all day, every day, serving Bombay comfort food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening tipples. All are welcome.

Food & Drink
★ In Bombay, mornings start early, fuelled by chai. Dishoom Leeds is no different, wake spirits with bottomless house chai, and breakfast on Bacon Naan Rolls, stacks of Cinnamon-Jaggery Pancakes or The Big Bombay. Tuck into speedy weekday lunches of Chicken Kathi Rolls, grilled kebabs and hearty salads. Crown Sunday lunch tables with a whole Lamb Rack to share, dressed in a thrilling Kashmiri sauce.
Come dinnertime, fill bellies and loosen belts with a host of crowd-pleasing favourites: good and proper Chicken Ruby, signature House Black Daal and slow-cooked biryanis. Quench thirsts – perhaps a cooling Mango Lassi, India Gimlet or crisp Kingfisher.
Specials

MALVANI LAMB CURRY
★ Maharashtrian comfort from the Konkan coast. Lamb leg, tender from unhurried cooking, nestled in a silken gravy of roasted coconut, cardamom, chillies, turmeric and pippali pepper. A heap of golden laccha paratha for dipping; a sharp onion salad alongside (for sound effects). Soothing as the velvet tide.

SAMIR'S VICE (ROCKS)
★ Ultra-modern clarification of tart pineapple and sweet strawberry, heady with tropical Takamaka Seychelles Rum Blanc. Fat-washed in coconut milk and dashed with cardamom bitters. Vice never tasted so nice.
RESERVATIONS
★ Dishoom is mostly a walk-in café. All are welcome, any time, no reservations needed. However, if you'd like to make a reservation, groups of any size may book.
